On August 28th, the grand 2026 Annual Donation and Education Funding Award Ceremony was held in Meijiao Town, Xingguo County. Representatives of Meijiao’s hometown elites, outstanding students, entrepreneurs, and caring individuals gathered together to witness the warm moment of valuing culture and education, and building dreams for the future. Zeng Zhihan from Liaoxi, who had previously been awarded the “Xingguo County Charity Ambassador”, generously donated 100,000 yuan.
Zeng Gaoliang, Vice Chairman of the Xingguo County Political Consultative Conference, Liu Jiaxing, Secretary of the Party Group and Acting President of the County People’s Court, Zeng Sansheng, Chairman of the County Federation of Overseas Chinese, Zeng Xianyin, President of the Meijiao Town Chamber of Commerce, Wei Fasheng, Vice Chairman and Second-level Director of the County Federation of Industry and Commerce, and other leaders and guests attended the ceremony. All members of the Meijiao Town Party and Government Leadership, heads of various town-level units, and branch secretaries of each village (community) participated in the event. Zhong Huafu, Deputy Secretary of the Meijiao Town Party Committee and Town Mayor, presided over the ceremony.
Mayor Zhong Huafu stated in his presiding speech that this was a grand gathering to witness growth, marking the fruitful achievements in improving education quality across the town; it was a gathering to pass on strength, ushering in a highlight moment for students to pursue and realize their dreams; and it was also a gathering to forge consensus, where the fine tradition of valuing education and passing on the family’s farming and reading heritage in Meijiao continued to be written in a new chapter.
At the ceremony, the attending leaders and guests presented honorary certificates and scholarships to outstanding students, paid high tribute to the hard-working educators, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the caring entrepreneurs and people from all walks of life who have long supported the development of education in Meijiao.

The student representative who received the commendation stated in his speech that he would cherish the hard-won opportunity to pursue education, turn the care from all sectors of society into a strong motivation to strive for excellence and be grateful to society, learn new knowledge and master new skills, and repay his hometown and society with practical actions.
