The Wei and Jin dynasties were an era of self awakening Chinese thought and culture, with parallel development of metaphysics and Buddhism, high levels of critical thinking and aesthetic freedom. The concept of Western Han’s feng shui established the origin of academic thought and provided a theoretical basis for the disciplinary system of feng shui operation in the Wei, Jin, Sui, and Tang dynasties. Guo Pu’s “Burial Scripture” from the Eastern Jin dynasty was the pioneering work of Chinese feng shui, and the ceremony of Wei and Jin’s apprenticeship. We would like to express our gratitude for the natural realization of our ancestors’ Taoist teachings.
