Li Jiangui, Secretary of the Xingguo County Party Committee in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, delivered a speech at the meeting
On February 10, during the election of the new council for the Xingguo County Charity Association, Zeng Zihan, an inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Sanliao Feng Shui and director of the Liaoxi Feng Shui Research Institute, was elected as a standing council member. This election not only recognizes his personal contributions to public welfare but also serves as a vivid echo of the millennia-old “relief of poverty” spirit of the Yang Gong tradition in contemporary society.
The disciples of Liao Xi have long been involved in public welfare and charitable activities
Zeng Zihan was born in Sanliao, known as the first village of Chinese Feng Shui culture, and is the 39th successor of the geomancy master Yang Junsong (also known as Yang Jiuqin). He has long dedicated himself to public welfare, with his charitable efforts focused on aiding education and helping those in need. Over the years, he has repeatedly donated teaching supplies to local schools in his hometown, established scholarships, and actively supported the construction of rural infrastructure. His philanthropic activities have persisted for nearly a decade, developing a regular and pragmatic style.
It is reported that the Liaoxi Feng Shui Research Institute, comprising disciples of intangible cultural heritage inheritors from across the country, has actively participated in public welfare activities organized by charitable associations in recent years. They have also conducted multiple fundraising campaigns, generating positive social impact and receiving recognition from relevant authorities.

From Feng Shui for Poverty Alleviation to Modern Charity
Zeng Zihan’s philanthropic practices are deeply rooted in the unique cultural heritage of Sanliao. Yang Junsong, the founding master of geomancy in Sanliao, made two significant contributions in his lifetime: first, he established the comprehensive academic system of Chinese geomancy, and second, with a spirit of aiding the impoverished, he reintegrated feng shui into mainstream cultural values. Combining the natural sentiment of harmony between heaven and humanity with the social ideal of benevolence, feng shui has taken deep root in people’s hearts. The cultural connotation of Sanliao feng shui embodies the proactive and enterprising spirit of Confucianism.
The relevant official stated that Mr. Zeng Zihan’s involvement brings a unique cultural perspective and profound hometown sentiment to charitable endeavors. He is not only a practitioner of public welfare but also a custodian of local cultural heritage. Zeng Zihan expressed that being elected as a standing director entails greater responsibility. In the future, he will actively build bridges to gather more social forces, uphold the fine tradition of serving his hometown and aiding the impoverished through practical actions, and contribute his efforts to the harmonious development of society.
